Is there a cure for Cancer in the works?

Campbell was born and raised in St. Louis but relocated to the San Francisco Bay Area to work at University California San Francisco. UCSF is one of the biggest cancer research schools in the country. Each year a lot of money gets donated to the school to help fight cancer.

Campbell's older cousin who attended Saint University inspired her to pursue a career in public health. Campbell garnered her bachelor's degree in public health from the University of Missouri. She obtained her masters degree in public health from Saint Louis university. Public health is a topic Campbell is very passionate about and she hopes her countless hours of research will result in a cure to help kill cancer.

According to Campbell the source of cancer is not based on diet or lack of exercise "sugary beverages and smoking but not everyone who smokes gets lung cancer", Campbell said. Also Campbell went on to add the following "dieting physical activity or lack thereof is a contributing factor", Campbell said. Another possible contributing factor to cancer is stress which is something going to the gym on a regular basis can help prevent. Being healthy mentally and physically can go a long way to ensure one doesn't develop cancer in the course of their lifetime.
