Why should you become a professional photographer?

Photography according to google is the art of taking and processing photographs. Photos can be taken from various angles and still tell a potent story. Photos can also be interpreted in numerous ways as well. The science and beauty that goes into photography is what makes it interesting. In addition to the work involved in photography the pay for being a professional photographer is pretty decent. Based on information provided by salary for photographer they make between $50,830-$72,285 per year. Kristopher Skinner who currently works at Claremont Middle School as a stip sub talked about what it's like to be a professional photographer.

Prior to Skinner working at Claremont he worked for the Oakland Tribune for many years as a professional photography. When Skinner was asked in a recent interview what he enjoyed the most about doing photography for professional sports teams his response was "The spectacle of it these are the best athletes in the world," Skinner said.

Skinner has been in the photography industry for over 20 years. His resume speaks to what kind of photographer he is. He loves to take all different kinds of photos from still shots to aerial photos. Majority of photos Skinner takes are outdoors. Some of them are of cars which is one of the things he loves in this world; older model cars to be specific.

One of the downsides to being a professional sports photographer is that while working the games you have to stand in a specific area and are instructed by team personnel when to step onto the field to take pictures. Aside from this Skinner loves everything about being a professional sports photographer. In regards to video editing Skinner is an avid iMovie user. According to him iMovie is way easier to use than some of the other video editing programs such as Adobe prelude and Adobe audition.

In conclusion, photography can be a hobby or full time profession. People who pursue it as a full time endeavor can make a fair amount of money from it. Skinner does it from time to time and advises any up and coming photographers to make sure this is something they love to do.
